SearchSaves is a browser extension that saves your research tabs into named projects. We take your privacy seriously — here's exactly what we do and don't do with your data.

What data we collect

SearchSaves stores your project names and saved tab URLs locally in your browser using the browser's built-in storage (chrome.storage.local). This data never leaves your device and is not sent to any server.

Licence key validation

If you purchase an unlimited licence, you will enter a licence key in the extension settings. This key is sent to our licence validation server (searchsaves.vercel.app) solely to confirm it is valid. We do not store your key on our servers, and no personal information is transmitted alongside it.

What we don't collect

• No account or sign-up is required
• We do not collect your name, email, or any personal information
• We do not track your browsing history or tab activity
• We do not use cookies or analytics
• We do not sell or share any data with third parties

Third-party services

Purchases are processed by Lemon Squeezy. Their privacy policy applies to the checkout process. SearchSaves does not receive or store any payment information.

Data removal

All your data is stored locally in your browser. You can clear it at any time by uninstalling the extension or clearing your browser's extension storage.
